Jamie and her
grandmother are making a woven memory of all the wonderful
and sad things that have happened in their lives.
The choose colours
that will remind them of special events - green for the
farm, orange for the fruit from their trees, turquoise for
the fish in the lake, and indigo for the night sky.
There are reds and blues for members of the family but
also greys and blacks for the sad times.
Soon it becomes more
than a piece of art and Jamie realises that both her past
and her future are part of the weaving.
